BIRD&FISH grew out of the Haarlem-Mutare Citylink. This foundation aims to create a bound between Haarlem, a city in Holland, and Mutare, a city in Zimbabwe. Projects on health, housing, sports and culture are among the many things they’ve accomplished in the past 15 years.

A partner in Mutare, Zimbabwe is ArtFulism. ArtFulism seeks to facilitate creative training programmes in Zimbabwe and beyond. They want to stimulate the further development of an environment in which young artists can develop and showcase their work.

BIRD&FISH and ICHYPPA are great collaborators. ICHYPPA is a foundation in Zimbabwe that gives creative training to Mutarese kids and young people. ICHYPPA also trains the trainers. In 2010 the ICHYPPA Festival will take place.
